It allows Milan university students to play many sports at affordable rates, both in the events managed by the centre, and in affiliated sports facilities.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

The University has built a relationship network and signed agreements with cultural institutions and associations of Milan and other cities, to promote cultural exchanges between the academic and local communities. If you study or work at the University, you can get discounted tickets and season tickets, including, in some cases, for one or more friends.

STUDENTS ASSOCIATIONS

The University of Milan supports cultural, social, and sporting initiatives promoted and managed by its students and dedicated to its students.

To ensure a fair and transparent allocation of financial resources and spaces across initiatives, the University has established a register for associations, cooperatives, groups and lists of representatives in the academic boards.

MUSIC

Immagine MUSIC

Among its many cultural initiatives, the University of Milan boasts the Unimi Orchestra, which has been performing for twenty years, involving students and alumni as well. The Orchestra is an important contributor to the Milanese orchestral world and stands out in the Italian academia for its unique project.

Every year, the heart of the Unimi Orchestra's activity is a symphonic season proposing the classical, romantic, and contemporary repertoire, and featuring world-renowned conductors and soloists.

All those who play an orchestral instrument can become a part of the Unimi Academic Ensemble, which focuses on chamber orchestra repertoire. Those who love to sing can join the Unimi Choir, which tackles both sacred and profane polyphonic choral music, from the Renaissance to the present day. Both the Academic Ensemble and the Choir organise concerts that are open to the public. Orchestra and choir selections are held every year and are open to all.
